My name is Benjamin Ross. My wife, Beverly, and I are a couple with creative vision and direction. Our lives revolve around art and design. We love to have fun and to spend every moment, living life to the fullest. But like most everyone else, we let time and opportunities pass us by. After having our daughter in May 2014, we now realize how much our lives have changed. We have to work harder at setting aside time to get away from the tedious schedule of everyday life, work, and chores and be adventurous while making memories for ourselves and our daughter.

We knew this was the time to act on our vision and turn theory into practice with “Happenstance”. (A game we created for ourselves circa 2008 to guide us away from routine & enrich our lives with experiences we may not have ventured on our own.) The idea is simple. 52 cards/52 weeks = a year of new things, challenges, and memories. The cards are designed on the fundamental premise of, “playing the hand you are dealt” and to create new opportunities to take life by chance, resulting in smiles, laughs, new interests, and long-lasting memories. “What do you want to do?” questions will be given the answer. The first deck edition of cards respectively take into account all ages, race, gender, religion, physical mobility, geographic location, status & prosperity. Following versions of “Happenstance” will highlight certain areas of interest, such as humanitarian, couples, families, going green, adventurer, traveler, etc.

We are excited to see where the cards will take us and to hear of the adventures the cards produce for all that play. We hope they bring as much joy to you as they do to our family.
